San Rafael company to offer unique class
A business in San Rafael will be holding a lesson on a widely known form of exercise with a fun twist in mid-March.
Yoga In The Taproom is an event where locals can come together at Pond Farm Brewing Co. and experience a relaxing social gathering. The class will be led by Brittany Lamb of Metta Yoga Studio. She will be teaching what is called ‘Yoga Flow,” with the event being topped off with some background music. Flyers with the company and venue logo design are often printed for promotion of similar events.
Guests are asked to bring along their own water bottle and yoga mat, although a few mats will be on hand for those who do not have one themselves. In addition, the venue requires that attendees present proof of being fully vaccinated or a negative test result for Covid-19, the latter of which must be taken no more than 72 hours prior to the date of the event. There is also some seating outdoors, which guests are able to use without these requirements.
Tickets cost $30. In addition to the yoga flow lesson, this will get guests one drink. The options include cold brew coffee, locally made beer, or tap kombucha. Attendees are welcome to stay as long as they like after the lesson is over to socialize with other patrons and enjoy more drinks and food. The food options rotate, allowing for new discoveries.
The yoga class will take place from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Sunday, March 13.
