Vegan chef to give author talk in San Rafael

Miyoko Schinner will visit the Marin County Free Library in San Rafael to discuss her newest book.

Those interested in vegan cuisine can join an author talk with Miyoko Schinner about her newest book, The Vegan Creamery. Schinner’s work contains over 60 recipes for vegan-friendly cheeses, butters, and desserts. The book teaches readers how to replicate the dairy products people love with ingredients such as nuts and seeds. The author talk will be facilitated by Lana Adlawan, the library director. Guests will get to ask Schinner questions about her work and sample vegan mozzarella.
