Shakespearean actors take to San Rafael stage

William Shakespeare was one of the most prolific playwrights of his time, and San Rafael residents will soon be given the opportunity to enjoy an interpretation of a well-known play.

As You Like It was written by Shakespeare in 1598. It tells the tale of brothers who are at odds with one another. Not only does this romantic comedy contain plenty of twists and turns, but it also involves a handful of fictional Greek gods. Therefore, As You Like It could appeal to fans of Shakespeare, and indeed anyone who happens to be studying ancient mythology.

Although this play is centuries old, it still touches on many contemporary subjects. These include familial relationships, interpersonal conflicts, and a timeless sense of humor that is somehow able to transcend the years.

Community-oriented events associated with live theatrical performances will often use proactive marketing techniques that will attract as diverse of an audience as possible.
