Since then, Bocelli has recorded 17 studio albums, dropped 22 singles, made 28 music videos, written four songs for film soundtracks, and much more. He has also recorded 11 complete operas, helping popularize and art form still considered “elite” by many people, and topping pop charts with classical music. ”Romanza,” the album he released in 1997, was certified 3x Platinum in the U.S., and is one of the best-selling albums ever made. “Sacred Arias,” which he released in 1999, also broke sales records.
