A band sporting the name of one of Journey’s biggest hits is coming to San Diego.
DSB (Don’t Stop Believin’) has been described as giving the “Undisputed Best” tribute concert for Journey. The group got together in 2009 and has become known for their extremely accurate version of classic Journey songs.
DSB comprises world-class musicians, and over the last 16 years, has gained national recognition performing with iconic outfits like REO Speedwagon, Loverboy, Bryan Adams, Night Ranger, Foreigner, and Styx. AXS TV has featured DSB as one of “The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands,” and Vegas Rocks! Magazine gave them their award for “Best Rock Tribute.”
The group recently undertook at 12,000-mile tour of the U.S. and appeared on “Home & Family” on Hallmark Channel and FOX. They have also joined with Royal Caribbean International and have been giving their Journey concerts aboard some of the world’s most luxurious cruise ships.
The Radio Thieves will appear with DSB. The group is a high-energy new wave band that plays the hits of the 1980s, giving them their own twist. The band is from Rancho San Diego, and must have a sense of humor, as it seems fine with “nearly winning” an honorable mention as one of the “most punctual musical acts” in Southern California, an award bestowed by San Diego’s Voice and Viewpoint.
The show is scheduled for July 5 at the Music Box. Events like this can benefit if organizers use poster printing methods to advertise them.
