A music event accompanied by tacos and tequila is due to come up soon.
The Tequila & Taco Music Festival is the largest of its kind in California, and will be held at San Diego's Embarcadero Marina Park North. The two-day festival gives attendees the chance to enjoy the waterfront as they sample gourmet street tacos. Craft beer and margaritas will be available, and top-quality tequilas will also be available for sampling. There will be live music to enjoy, and vendors will be on hand selling original works of art.
The festival is two days long, with the tequila sampling taking place only between 11:30 am and 3:30 pm. Tickets for the sampling are separate, and are good only on the day indicated. All ticketed attendees will be able to enjoy the music, margaritas, beers, and food. General admission is $15, while the tickets that include the tequila are $40.
The event is a fundraiser for the Gen Giammanco Foundation, which gives financial support to student athletes who are going to college, and who have shown they have the commitment and passion to succeed both athletically and in their studies. The foundation also supports athletic programs for middle and high school students.
