Harry Mack’s video “Venice Beach Freestyle” is the work that skyrocketed him to fame, giving him the chance to perform along with celebrities such as Ellen DeGeneres, Redbull Music, and Kendrick Lamar. He also starred in a television commercial for Mitsubishi that featured him rapping to customers at the auto maker’s dealerships. The commercials aired in 2018.
During the period September 2019 to July 2020, Mack produced and released 16 episodes of his series “Guerrilla Bars” on YouTube, earning viewers in the millions. He also livestreams material on a weekly basis, promoting positivity and continuing to reach his fans with interactive performances.
Jazz drumming is a vital part of Mack’s background, and reflects his long-time interest in improvisational music. He uses rhythmic improvisation in his work with hip-hop, and blends the messages found in hip-hop with the excitement of improvised jazz.
