Darkest Hour will be in America's Finest City soon, along with guests Misery Signals. Darkest Hour is based in Washington, D.C., where they first got together in 1995. They released “The Misanthrope,” their debut EP in 1996, and began touring, then released “The Mark of the Judas,” their full-length debut album, in 2000, on M.I.A. The label failed, but the band went on to sign with Victory Records.
They began to find success on this label, charting for the first time with “Undoing Ruin,” their fifth album. In 2007, they dropped “Deliver Us” and in 2009, “The Eternal Return,” both of which went all the way to the top spot on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums charts.

Misery Signals is a metalcore outfit from Wisconsin that formed when several other bands broke up. Brothers Ryan and Branden Morgan have been with the band since the beginning. They now have five studio albums and two EPs to their credit. A review says:
“These guys and Underoath are probably best songwriters in metalcore . . .”
The bands will be at Brick by Brick on Buenos Avenue, on December 13 at 7:00 pm. Poster printing is often used to publicize events like this.
