Darkest Hour is on a West Coast Anniversary Tour, celebrating 25 years in the industry. The band got together in 1995 in Washington, D.C., and first hit the charts with their album “Deliver Us,” which bowed at No. 110. Their next release, “The Eternal Return,” debuted at No. 104, but “Godless Prophets & the Migrant Flora” made a huge jump, up to No. 42 on the Billboard 200, and No. 1 on the U.S. Heatseekers.

Misery Signals is joining Darkest Hour. This group was formed after several others disbanded, and is a metalcore group that garnered members from both the United States and Canada. The band released “Misery Signals,” its debut EP, in 2003. Many of the band members work on side projects, but they are planning to release their next album late in 2020.
Also on the bill is Sect, a metalcore band whose members come from several other groups. The group often uses its music to comment on current societal issues.
The bands will appear at Brick by Brick on December 13, at 7:00 pm, with the doors opening at 6:30 pm. Poster printing is often used successfully to promote this type of event.
