Prospective pet parents and those who just love animals will enjoy an upcoming event.
The Doggie Street Festival (DSF) is coming to NTC Park at Liberty Station in San Diego. The day will provide information and education about conscientious pet ownership, spay/neuter measures, fostering, and adopting companion animals. It is designed to raise public awareness of these issues.
DSF will also have information on hand about pet care, including ensuring the animals’ well-being, how to train animals, and how to make sure they remain healthy. The event celebrates companion animals and urges people to work together and advocate on behalf of animals to make a positive change in their situation, so that no pet is left homeless.
Attendees at the Doggie Street Festival will enjoy contests, auction prizes, special guests, a kids’ art area, vendors with pet services and products, veterinarians with tips for caring for animals, delicious food, a VIP lounge, music, and more. Pet parents with well-behaved, friendly dogs are urged to bring their pets with them.
The event organizers are also reaching out to other rescue agencies in the area and inviting them to take part. This will offer prospective pet parents even more choices of a new family members.
There is no admission charge for the festival, which is set for November 19, from 9:00am until 3:00pm. Events like these, with many vendors and activities, can be confusing, but organizers can help by using flyer printing to create handouts for visitors.
