People who enjoy art, or who simply want to savor the outdoors, should consider attending an upcoming event.
The ArtWalk @ Liberty Station will be held for the 17th time this year. The day brings over 150 artists from California, surrounding states, and Mexico to display and sell their works of art, which include sculpture, jewelry, ceramic and glass, photos, and paintings. The location of the event, the Arts District at Liberty Station, has become a popular venue for entertainment, dining, museums, and the arts. The setting features water features and a lush green lawn.
This show is part of ArtWalk San Diego, which brings together all aspects of San Diego’s art scene, and encourages people to consider buying original art.
Organizers note that people who are fully vaccinated need not wear masks, but are welcome to do so if they wish. They ask that people who are not fully vaccinated wear masks, but they will not check vaccination status. If anyone needs a mask, they will be available at the information booth.
The venue is located at 2751 Dewey Road, and Liberty Station has free parking with lots available and street parking plentiful. The ArtWalk is set for August 6, from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm, and August 7 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Events like this can be made more interesting if attendees have guides to the displays, which organizers can create using flyer printing.
