Northridge pays homage to Quincy Jones

The Northridge artistic community will soon recognize the works of acclaimed jazz musician and producer Quincy Jones. A tribute concert set to take place in October intends to showcase some of his most popular creations within decidedly intimate settings.

Fly Me to the Moon: A Tribute to Quincy Jones will be featuring the Pacific Jazz Orchestra conducted by Chris Walden. This includes a special guest appearance by Jose James; a well-known baritone singer and guitarist.

Those who attend the Fly Me to the Moon concert can expect to enjoy renditions of works including The Secret Garden, Just Once, Soul Bossa Nova, and It's My Party. Jones is also famous for having collaborated with artists such as Leslie Gore, Michael Jackson, Prince, Frank Sinatra, and Ray Charles.

These types of concerts often use proven advertising strategies to summarize what guests can enjoy. Working in tandem with local Print shops, dedicated social media pages, and informative banner advertisements are all effective techniques.

The Fly Me to the Moon Quincy Jones Tribute will be hosted by the Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts located at 18111 Nordhoff Street in Downtown Northridge on Saturday, October 18th. The concert begins at 8 PM, and ticket prices start at $54 dollars per person. Reservations can be obtained via third-party websites, or by contacting a representative at Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts.
