Jazz musician Christian Sands will soon be returning to the Northridge stage, and this year's performance is expected to focus on the holiday season.
Billed as "Christmas Stories", Christian Sands will perform a mixture of holiday classics, traditional jazz pieces, and original compositions. Sands is also known for a collection of successful songs since his professional debut in 2002. Some notable titles include Furioso, Take One, Reach, Harmonia, Footprints, and Facing Dragons.
Sands is also a two-time Grammy nominee, and he has partnered with other well-known musicians, such as Bill Evans, Craig Handy, Marcus Strickland, and Marvin Sewell. His music has been described as moody, cool, and swinging by contemporary counterparts. Christian Sands will likely be performing several tracks from his latest album titled Embracing Dawn.
