Northridge is one of the many communities throughout California that has become partially defined by its cultural diversity, and these groups will soon be provided with a means to become acclimated to university life.
The California State University at Northridge will be hosting its annual DREAM Center Welcome festival. This event is primarily intended to introduce new students to the on-campus services they can expect to enjoy throughout their tenure. The DREAM festival is particularly geared towards immigrants who have recently arrived in Northridge, and indeed anyone who may be associated with a diverse cultural background.
Organizers claim that this approach makes it easier for students to transition into university settings. The event also represents an opportunity to ask questions, become familiar with the campus, and enjoy hands-on networking opportunities.

The 2026 CSUN Dream Center Welcome festival is being held on Tuesday, August 11 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. All activities will be taking place within the DREAM Center located at 18111 Nordhoff Street. This event is free and open to all CSUN students. Attendees can request interpretation via a form on the CSUN website.
