Northridge not-for-profit to celebrate family-friendly Halloween

The Child and Family Guidance Center in Northridge provides support to area families in need of assistance, and to help meet its expenses, it will be welcoming one and all for a child-friendly trick-or-treat experience.

For the past 60 years, the organization has provided services to the community, and it has planned its first ever Halloween Fest. It will be a community-wide celebration, with everyone encouraged to stop by and help make it a success.

The planners will be working with staff and volunteers to create a Trick or Treat Village where the little ones can go shelling out. While they do, the adults in the crowd will have an opportunity to visit the various health and wellness booths and displays that will be set up with them in mind. Everyone can try their luck at the carnival games, and one of the perks of attending the celebration is that it will give the attendees a time to meet and get to know their neighbors.

According to the function's listing, one of its aims is to remove the stigma surrounding mental health care. A brochure printing company may prove to be a helpful partner in awareness about a particular cause.

The first Child and Family Guidance Center Halloween Fest will be kicking off at 11:00 am on October 29. It will be on offer at 9650 Zelzah Boulevard in Northridge.
