Pleasant Hill tradition returns for 76th year

A ball and celebration is in the works for Pleasant Hill next month, marking the 76th year of the ongoing tradition in town.

The 76th Black and White Ball is preparing to release its tickets to interested parties who want to reserve their spot at the memorable fundraising event. The gathering will work to raise funds that aid several local causes and push for a better, more united community.

The event is being organized by the Bay Area Community Project, a local non-profit organization that aims to promote minority youth's development and help them achieve their goals and dreams. The organization utilizes a mentor program to prepare these individuals for access to higher education. Flyer printing is an effective way to raise awareness of such community events to raise money to help others while promoting sponsors and host venues.

All proceeds will go to the youth mentoring program, allowing interested parties to support a good cause. Attendees will enjoy a dinner of their choice with the cost of a ticket. Diners with dietary restrictions should contact the organizers before the event to learn more about their options. A silent auction and professional photographer will also be available.

The Walnut Creek Marriott will host the ball on the evening of January 25th, from 6:00 PM until midnight. Tickets are available online for $33.85 per guest.
