The Recreation & Park District and Chamber of Commerce of Pleasant Hill are once again coming together to host the Blues & Brews Festival. Now in its fifth year, many residents look forward to this Pleasant Hill summertime tradition.
The night prior to the festival, a pre-party concert will take place. It is free to attend and plenty of food and beverages will be on hand for purchase. The Blues & Brews Festival proper will feature free music and unlimited beer tasting with purchase of ticket. A wristband will be required for service, and IDs will be checked at the gate. Food vendors will be on hand selling a variety of tasty treats as well.
Two levels of ticket are available: general admission and VIP. General admission is $35 online prior to the event or $45 at the event. VIP Tasting, for which tickets are limited, costs $55 and is only available online. Poster printing services often enable organizers of events such as this one to inform the public about such details as general and VIP tickets.
The Blues & Brews Festival runs from noon to 6:00 pm on July 19, with general admission tasting from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and VIP Tasting beginning at noon. The pre-party concert takes place Friday, July 18 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. All sessions will be held at Pleasant Hill Park.
