Fans of the mystery genre in Pleasant Hill watch a special conversation between writers Rachel Howzell Hall and David Corbett.
Rachel Howzell Hall: A Woman of Mysteries is a virtual event where people can learn about the experiences Hall has faced as a Los Angeles-area mystery writer. She earned a degree in English and American literature from UC Santa Cruz and is part of the board of directors for the Southern California chapter of Mystery Writers of America. Her past novels include They All Fall Down and A Quiet Storm. Hall’s most recent book is These Toxic Things, which is part of the Lou Norton series.
David Corbett, the host of the program, is also a mystery author. Corbett has written Books such as The Long-Lost Love Letters of Doc Holliday. His works have been selected for Best American Mystery Stories, and he was once nominated for the Lefty Award for Best Historical Mystery. Corbett has also created two writing guides for creating characters and taught at writing conferences. Business Cards can help presenters like Corbett connect with organizers for conventions.
