Crab feed fundraiser plans visit to Pleasant Hill

Seafood aficionados should plan their schedules wisely next month, as an all-you-can-eat crab fundraiser is stopping in Pleasant Hill.

NAMI Contra Costa Back to Basics Crab Fundraiser is scheduled to begin in a few weeks, providing a seafood experience Pleasant Hill residents are sure to love. The proceeds will go to the NAMI CC programs to fund future events and community endeavors. Guests are encouraged to eat as many Dungeness crabs as possible at the event while enjoying the live music from local bands.

This year’s event is focused on a grassroots approach to fundraising. The focus for attendees is the food and live music, and there will be no raffles or auctions at the event. In addition to the crab, cold beverages will be provided to participants for one dollar at the fundraiser. Guests are welcome to bring wine and drinks. Banner printing is a fantastic way to raise awareness for community events like this one.

Spots are limited, and the event’s sponsors anticipate a sell-out. Interested parties are encouraged to buy tickets and reserve a spot while they last.

The Pleasant Hill Community Center will host the fundraiser on Sunday, March 3, beginning at 5:30 PM and ending at 8:30 PM. General admission tickets are available online for $90 per person. Interested parties can contact Gigi Crowder for more information.
