The Contra Costa Public Library will be airing a broadcast soon that teaches Pleasant Hill residents about Mandarin.
Morning Stories on the Table is a recent educational series for families to enjoy. The show is produced by the company Polydott and helps viewers practice useful Mandarin vocabulary. The videos also feature fun activities for the audience to learn, and many of them are under 20 minutes long. There are already a few completed broadcasts on the show’s YouTube page, featuring stories such as The Girls Who Dream, Baku: The Dream Eater, and The Ruined Man Who Became Rich Again.
Polydott is a company based in the Silicon Valley that produces entertaining and educational content for children and adults. Audience members can find the group’s videos on YouTube or their podcast on Apple. The show has just recently finished a Halloween and Thanksgiving special. Organizations producing shows similar to this can use business card printing to trade contact info with potential viewers.
The newest broadcast will air on Wednesday, December 23 at 4:00 pm. After the debut, people can watch the video either on Facebook or on Polydott’s YouTube channel. No prior registration is needed to see the bilingual show, and the program is free for the public to view on either platform. The event will be sponsored by the Friends of the Pittsburg Library.
