Support group to provide help near Placentia
Placentia residents seeking support and aid with emotional and behavioral disorders are in store for relief next month, as a support group is coming to a nearby locale.
The Every Body Deserves Love Support Group is getting ready to welcome attendees for a supportive and uplifting environment where each person can feel safe to express themselves and feel cared for. The group’s goal is to ensure that individuals in and around Placentia can share their experiences and encourage one another to overcome challenges in their lives.
The event will kick off with a group discussion lasting 30 minutes, where guests will learn more about setting boundaries and giving themselves self-love. It will also provide different stress management techniques for improved mental health. Flyer printing is a cost-effective way to raise awareness of such events in the community when placed in public areas with high foot traffic.
The discussion will lead into the event’s main activity, which is built around journaling, guided breathing exercises, and practicing mindfulness. Attendees are encouraged to bring a journal and pen to take notes throughout the day. An end-of-session survey will be handed out to each participant at the support group’s closing.
The support group will meet at 800 N. College Boulevard on the campus of California State University, Fullerton. It is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 9. Tickets are free and donations are encouraged.
