The 12th annual Taste of Placentia will return to the city this August. The festival is known for its beer, wine, and, of course, the food, and it all takes place against a backdrop of live music and plenty of other types of vendors.
Hosted by the Placentia Chamber of Commerce, the event expects to bring in more than 100 different restaurants, breweries, wineries, and other businesses.
Some of the restaurants attending include Aloha Hawaiian Shave Ice, Nikki's Kitchen, and Spitz Mediterranean Restaurant. Beverage stands include Broken Timbers Brewery, Soda Force, and Xoloitzcuintle Tequila, among others. Other vendors include Face Painting by Tiffany, Jewelers Touch, and Winning Ways. Many vendors at events like this tend to rely on business card printing to distribute cards and get their name out there, helping guests to remember places they would like to visit in the future.
During the event, guests can walk around the various vendors while listening to live music by 80z All Stars. DJ Slim Dee will also be there spinning tunes.
Pre-sale tickets are $45, or $55 at the door. VIP tables are available in the shade and near the music for an additional $200. This includes up to 10 seats and 10 tasting wristbands.
The 12th annual Taste of Placentia takes place on Thursday, August 6, from 5-9 p.m. The location is Tri-City Park, and its address is 2301 N. Kraemer Boulevard in Placentia.
