Annual fundraiser hosted by Placentia womens organization

This November, the Placentia Round Table Women's Club will host its annual luncheon featuring an array of festive trees.

The festival includes a complimentary lunch and silent auction bidding; attendees can win a display tree during the raffle. The Placentia club stemmed from a group of women in 1902 who gathered around a member's table, coining the name. Every November, the Placentia Round Table Women's Club celebrates its Festival of Trees.

The fundraiser nurtures groups including Meals on Wheels, Casa Teresa, Patriots and Paws, and Friendly Center. This past June, it bestowed $50,000 in scholarships to a cohort of local students. They also endorse low-income students in nearby schools, local fire and police departments, and the library.

A separate fundraiser being organized by the club is the Friendship Soup, where members and friends assemble more than 3,000 packages to market at fall and holiday boutiques, priced at $8 for small portions and $12 for large portions. Purchases can be made on November 7 and 8 at the Yorba Linda Women's Club Craft Fair.

To generate professional programs and printed Invitations, partnering with commercial Stationery printers helps Placentia nonprofits streamline auctions and luncheons.

The Festival of Trees commences Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 10 am at the Embassy Suites, located at 11767 Harbor Boulevard, managed by the Placentia Round Table Women's Club.
