This August, the 12th annual Taste of Placentia event will take place.
Some of this year's participating restaurants include Chunk-N-Chip, LaCove Restaurant and Bar, and The Whole Enchilada, as well as dozens of others. Breweries and other beverage vendors will be participating as well, and a full list of participating restaurants, breweries, and wineries is available on the city's Chamber of Commerce website.
Additionally, DJ Slim Dee is returning to spin music in the tasting area. Guests are advised to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the grass while they eat, but keep in mind that outside coolers and food are not allowed.
Festival organizers are still looking for more sponsors and vendors. Interested business owners may get the chance to bring Promotional Products and tell guests about their companies and how they benefit the community when they sponsor the event.
Tickets for the event are $45 in advance, or $55 at the door for adults. Children ages 3-10 pay $10 in advance or $15 at the door, and children under 3 are free. VIP tables for up to 10 people are available for $650 in advance or $750 at the door and include 10 wristbands for the tasting area.
