Placentia to celebrate Celtic roots

Similar to other cities throughout the United States, Placentia has come to represent a patchwork of unique cultures. An upcoming festival has been created to celebrate the Celtic roots of many residents, and organizers have begun preparing for a large turnout.

The 2026 California Celtic Fest will provide two days of immersion into a culture that can be traced back for thousands of years. Live music, on-site food vendors, retail kiosks providing souvenirs, and interactive displays are some of the attractions that guests can expect. Some musicians that will be performing on stage include The Young Dubliners, Sina Thiel, The Diddley Idols, The Ploughboys, Bren Holmes, and Lady Friar. The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society will also be displaying their talents.

This is a family-friendly festival, so parents are welcome to bring along their children. Some kid-friendly activities include face painting, a Jenga competition, and axe throwing for teenagers.

Events associated with predominantly cultural overtones will frequently employ marketing strategies that appeal to a specific demographic. Methods can include banner printing, passing out Stationery displaying daily itineraries, and asking volunteers to distribute branded Flyers.

The 2026 California Celtic Fest is taking place on Saturday, June 20th, and Sunday, June 21st. All events are being held within Kraemer Memorial Park located at 201 Bradford Avenue. Two-day general admission tickets are currently priced at $43.80.
