A new location of Carstar, a network of independently owned collision repair facilities, is now open in Lancaster.

Carstar Westside Collision is owned by Sarkis Zhamkochian, who has spent the last 20 years in the collision repair industry working with insurance carriers. He decided to join the Carstar family to get more involved with repairs and to have his own facility. He said that he has a team of highly qualified professionals and is hoping to build a strong reputation in Lancaster.

Carstar Westside Collision spans 11,000 square feet and has the requisite equipment for providing collision repair services to handle all types of vehicles, ranging from heavy-duty trucks to tractor-trailers. The facility is an I-CAR Gold certified facility, which is the highest achievement recognized in the collision repair industry. Flyer printing is often used to promote such achievements of new facilities and their services.

Collision group president of Driven Brands, Dean Fisher, said that those who own locations of Carstar such as Zhamkochian work hard to earn such certifications. He added that such certifications demonstrate their excellent repair work, but also their commitment to providing the best work possible to the community.

In a press release, the company expressed its excitement about not only serving the community but in giving back through various charitable causes, such as the local minor league baseball teams and the Armenian Fund.
