Lancaster will once again be hosting the Tour de Luke bike ride for charity.
This cycling event is held in partnership with Lucky Luke Brewing and other establishments. The goal of the event is to raise funds for SEE AND BE SEEN programming, Resurrection Cycles, and some other charities, as well as promote the safety of active transportation.
Such special events and their efforts at fundraising are often promoted throughout a city and area with poster printing.
The Tour de Luke is 14.2 miles and starts in Lancaster at the Lucky Luke Brewpub, passes Palmdale’s Lucky Luke taproom, and ends at the starting point. Celebratory beverages will be offered at Lucky Luke following the ride, with extra items reserved with VIP riders in mind.
Mayor R. Rex Parris said that this is more than a bike ride. He said that it celebrates the passion of the city for local brewing and cycling and reinforces the commitment of the city to making it more vibrant and safer for all residents. He added that the city and Lucky Luke are partnering to create a ride and event that enriches the lives of the community and will have a significant impact and will provide a great activity for all participants.
Tour de Luke will be held on Saturday, October 7.
