Dublin organizes family learning fun
Dublin recently announced that it is proud to present an activity series for its families, and they have all been planned to make learning fun.
The city’s Weekend Wonders program gives parents and kids an opportunity to both learn and try their hand at a variety of activities. There will be facilitators on site throughout each instalment, and they are scheduled for select Saturdays.
During July, the session leaders will offer an introduction to the art of leatherworking by teaching how to craft bracelets using traditional techniques. August is set to explore what life was like on a family run agricultural operation in days gone by at Kolb Family Farm. September’s will see families get creative with clay, and at the time this was prepared, the registration system for each was still open. Residents and non-residents alike are welcome to sign up, and the registration fee starts at $5.00. The runtime will be two hours.
When organizing an activity, planners may be in the market for an assortment of customized materials. A printing services company will be able to help, and will have options that suit most budget levels.
Dublin’s summer schedule of Weekend Wonders has dates set for July 12th, August 9th and September 13th. More details about each, including where it will be held, have been included in its listing on the city’s website.
