Blood donation drive set for Dublin

As Dublin heads into another summer, its residents have been asked to save some time in their schedule for an event that will help them become an everyday hero.

The American Red Cross has invited all to help save a life by rolling up their sleeve for a blood donation drive. It will run for six hours at the Dublin Civic Center, and each donor may save up to three lives.

Those interested have been asked to sign up in advance, although a limited number of walk-up timeslots may be available. When they arrive, the donors will be greeted, checked in, and given a brief health screening. After this, they will make their donation, then be invited to relax for a few minutes with some light refreshments before heading out for the rest of their day.

Not-for-profit groups may operate with a tight budget, which means that they may appreciate marketing materials that can be used in a wide variety of ways. A brochure printing company can work with organizations, supplying them with low-cost items that offer a high return on investment.

The American Red Cross will be providing the chance for Dublin residents to make a big impact on Friday, June 5 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The registration process can be completed through the American Red Cross website, and the location code to use is 94568.
