Submissions sought for Best of Dublin initiative
The Dublin Chamber of Commerce provides a collective voice for its businesses and not-for-profit groups, and it is seeking community input for one of its initiatives.
Each year, The Best of Dublin activity recognizes some of the city's top businesses, and the public is invited to both nominate an establishment and vote for their top pick for 2015.
The friendly competition will be broken down into a variety of categories. Last year, there were 73 of these, more than 5,500 residents cast their ballot, and 431 businesses took part. The organizers are hoping that 2025 will be just as successful, and the winners will be featured in the marketing materials prepared for the initiative, including its website. There is no charge to vote, and everyone is encouraged to get involved.
Communities often choose to host events that showcase their business side. A snappy logo and other branding for an activity can be prepared by a local printing services provider.
Voting opens today (August 12) and continues until to September 12, and the final date to submit a nominee is September 4.
