Fresh Griller recently announced that it will be opening a new restaurant at the new Downey Promenade shopping center in late March.
The eatery prides itself on fresh, seasonal, and natural ingredients and enables its guests to create customized meals that include salads, wraps, and bowls. Guests start by selecting a style, whether that be a salad, wrap, or bowl, and then add chicken, marinated steak, or grilled tofu. The next selection is seasonal ingredients followed by one of the chef-created special sauces. Made from scratch on a daily basis, the most popular sauce is a vegan sauce with cilantro, serrano peppers, and green onion.
Sustainability is at the heart of the philosophy of the restaurant, since it uses sustainable Packaging and natural building materials. It also partners with companies who have the same values and expectations for sustainability as it does.
Founder and CEO of Fresh Griller, Anand Gala, said that Downey is a vibrant city and shares its focus on fun, family, and the community. Gala has planned for the opening to partner with the community and support Growing Great’s Downey Community Garden.
