Downey to host classical symphony concert

Fans of classical music have already begun to take notice of a concert being held in April. This event will feature works from a host of well-known composers, and it will also display the talents of an up-and-coming Southern California pianist.

This Downey Symphony Concert is one in a series of live musical performances hosted by the Downey Symphony Orchestra. This upcoming event will feature the works of several well-known composers. These include MOTH by Flora Cheng, Piano Concerto No. 1 in E-Flat Major by Franz Liszt, and Pictures at an Exhibition written by Mussorgsky.

These pieces will be played by Andrew Edwards. Mr. Edwards originally hails from Southern California. Mr. Edwards is particularly known for his renditions of pieces composed by Beethoven, Ravel, and Debussy.

Organizers of live classical performances will often use somewhat reserved marketing methods, as they tend to target a niche demographic. Some methods may include brochure printing, producing informative playbills that can be distributed immediately before the event, and creating large banner advertisements.

The Downey Symphony Concert is taking place on Saturday, April 18th. The performance is scheduled to take place between 7 PM and 9 PM, so attendees are encouraged to arrive in advance. This concert is being hosted by the Downey Symphony Orchestra located at 8435 Firestone Boulevard. No tickets are required, and admission is free.
