Large Format Printing in Downey

For much of its history Downey, California, was an agricultural community; it also boasted a large dairy industry. By 1935, it was considered an “orange grove town” - so named for the citrus groves in the area. During World War II, Downey was home to Vultee Aircraft, which was the city’s largest employer at the time. After hostilities ended, the remaining farms disappeared to make way for other factories as well as housing. At Minuteman Press, we’re proud to offer large format printing in Downey to organizations here.

When organizations need objects like Banners, including those made of vinyl, Posters, and window Signs, they are faced with the task of creating large items. Banners, for instance, whether they’re hung above a store entrance, across a street, or stretched between holders on a lawn, must be both attractive and legible. Making sure that images and text are clear and readable can be a challenge, since handling oversized cardstock, Banners, and other materials is cumbersome. Fortunately, wide format printers are used, and they’re designed for just such purposes.

These printers, though, are big machines, and unless a company makes a great many large printed products, it might not be economical for it to maintain such equipment in-house. Fortunately, we’re here to help.

At Minuteman Press, we have the printers and the expertise to offer large format printing in Downey. Please call or stop by, and let us help with the newest project.
