The Foundation of Hope and Innovation is hosting a toy drive for the third consecutive holiday season to benefit The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation and Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
The Institute of Hope and Innovation has 11 locations in Southern California, one of which is in Downey, at which new and unwrapped toys can be dropped off.
According to Board Member of The Foundation of Hope and Innovation, Dr. Richy Agajanian, it is important to give back to the community at this time of the year. It is hoped that much joy and cheer can be spread during the season by providing families of patients at both facilities with gifts for their children.
The Foundation of Hope and Innovation is a nonprofit organization involved in cancer research and programs for care of patients.
The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation provides comprehensive treatments that are tailored to the needs of each of its patients, and plans to help families dealing with children who have cancer.
Most likely both organizations are turning to flyer printing to inform the community of its efforts to gather these gifts. Toys need to be collected by December 12, as there will be two events at which they will be distributed, with one on December 15 and the other on December 16.
