Downey to host virtual event for dental professionals

A webinar for dentists and dental assistants centering on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance is set to be hosted in Downey next month, and will be shown online.

Leslie Canham will lead this event, and has years of experience as a dental assistant since she first began in 1972. She is also a well-known consultant and speaker on topics including the Dental Practice ACT, OSHA compliance, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) regulations.

This educational Downey webinar is designed to provide dental professionals with thorough information on updated standards surrounding patient confidentiality, the Dental Practice Act, and infection control. Course topics include how to find reliable solutions for safety and infection control, which OSHA regulations are relevant to COVID-19, and yearly OSHA training requirements for dental practitioners. Those who participate in similar virtual events often use printing services to create physical Copies of materials relevant to the main topic.
