The city of Downey will open its streets to vendors and guests at the Downtown Downey Night Market: Holiday Hello Kitty Sanrio Market happening next month.
The night market will take place along the bustling Downey Avenue and is intended to appeal to people of all ages and interests. Owing to its Hello Kitty theme, it is also ideal for families with small children. While their parents are shopping and exploring what the market has to offer, young Hello Kitty fans will have the chance to meet the beloved cat and friends, and even take a photo with her to preserve the memories.
There will 70-plus vendors selling all manner of goods and ware, including home decor, jewelry, Apparel, handmade creations, ceramics, and artwork. There will also be over 10 food vendors and food trucks available to choose food and beverages from. For the furry friends, there will be free Pup Cups given out.
Festivals and community markets like this will often be advertised on Flyers, which can be printed at local shops offering flyer printing and then distributed by volunteers in the city.
The Downey night market is slated for Saturday, November 14 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. All vendors and activities will take place along Downey Avene. There is no admission fee, but photos with Hello Kitty will have a charge.
