Downey to host starting event for science festival

Downey will play host to the City of STEM Kickoff Festival, a launch event to the month-long science festival that will occur in Los Angeles this April.

The City of STEM event will feature over 100 partners and collaborators across Southern California offering the surrounding communities special science-related workshops, hands-on learning experiences, and visiting programs.
