In a few weeks, the City of Downey, the LA Food Bank, and LA County Library will come together to hold the Holiday Drive-Thru Gift and Food Giveaway.
The event is designed to serve the underprivileged in the community and to ensure that every family has something to eat and gifts to enjoy this holiday season. To attend the event, families must register beforehand and arrive according to their designated timeslot. Each family will receive a food box, and children ages 3 to 16 will receive a gift if they are registered and physically present.
Organizers remind the public that this is a drive-thru event only due to COVID-19 regulations, so walk-ups will not be allowed. Attendees must also Print their registration Forms and have them ready to present to event staff when they arrive.
Drive-thru events like this may utilize printed Signs and Banners to coordinate traffic flow and provide information for guests. Local shops specializing in poster printing and banner printing can therefore be quite helpful in such cases.
The Downey Holiday Drive-Thru Gift and Food Giveaway is scheduled for Saturday, December 18th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
