Downey area symposium to discuss clean air initiative

This April, the California Air Resouces Board will hold the 2025 CARB Clean Transportation Equity Incentives Symposium in the Los Angeles/Downey area should any interested stakeholders and community members wish to attend.

One of six boards nestled under the California Environmental Protection Agency, the CARB’s mission is to protect the public from the effects of air pollution, as well as manage and develop programs that aim to tackle climate change. The Clean Transportation Equity Incentives Symposium stands as one of these efforts to protect the environment by discussing how clean transportation incentives can be enacted in an equitable and effective manner.

The symposium invites community groups, outreach partners, project administrators, and other integral stakeholders to discuss and reflect on the various equity-focused clean transportation programs that the board is managing. The event will include panel discussions, keynote addresses, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities for attendees. Attendance to activities will be offered both in person and on virtual platforms.

Professional symposiums like this that include dedicated networking opportunities may encourage those attending to refresh their supply of Business Cards in order to participate in networking activities effectively.

The Clean Transportation Symposium will be held on Thursday, April 10 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will take place at Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Los Angeles Downtown, located at 120 South Los Angeles Street, not too far from Downey.
