This May, BlackCat Studio in Downey will host the Mother’s Day Flower Workshop in celebration of Mother’s Day.
The event will be organized by Romance Du Jour, a wedding florist company in Long Beach, and hosted by BlackCat Studio, a community space for entrepreneurs and creatives. The workshop is specifically for to provide a fun, creative activity for mothers wanting to relax and engage in some special “me time.” It is also ideal for individuals wanting to make their mothers a unique, handcrafted gift.
No prior floral arranging experience or knowledge is required to take the class. The floral workshop will teach attendees how to make their own floral arrangement. Utilizing a mix of demonstrative teaching and hands-on practice, participants will create their own beautiful floral centerpiece. Organizers will provide all material and flowers, and tea and snacks will also be included in ticket purchases.

The Mother’s Day floral arrangement class is scheduled for May 13 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. BlackCat Studio is located at 12830 Paramount Boulevard. Limited seats are available, so organizers recommend registering as soon as possible. Tickets are $95 per person.
