Bags of Love Foundation will be holding its annual Gold Ribbon Gala this month.
The gala will begin with entertainment and no-host cocktails at 6:00 pm. The dinner at 7:00 pm will be catered by NV Catering followed by a program of guest speakers. DJ Danny Hill will be providing the tunes for the after-dinner dance.
An online auction will begin tomorrow, June 17, at 8:00 am. Live and silent auctions will take place from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm during the gala dinner.
Bakersfield area donors may opt to support the gala by funding a need on the event’s website. Some of these options are Bags of Love for $25, gas cards for $50, paying a month’s utility bill ($250) or mortgage ($500) for a family, and funding scholarships for $100, $1,000, or $2,500.
Individual general admission will be $75. Drink vouchers and valet parking will be included with the $100 individual, $180 pair, and $750 tables for eight VIP tickets.
Proceeds from the evening will go to GG The Warrior and Bags of Love, organizations providing scholarships, care packages, and financial assistance to families in our local childhood cancer community.
Sometimes, an enthusiastic supporter for causes such as this will get some flyer printing done and place Flyers in their neighborhoods, workplaces, and associations.
The Gold Ribbon Gala will take place Saturday, June 24 at A Royal Palace, 6720 District Boulevard.
