The long awaited return of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is right around the corner, and the excitement is brewing.
Since early July, Bakersfield residents have seen a sign outside a former A&W and Long John Silver’s building announcing Krispy Kreme’s return. It was in 2005 when the last Krispy Kreme Doughnut was sold in Bakersfield, and the public has been eagerly awaiting its return. The company made an announcement on August 19 that the city’s Krispy Kreme doughnut drought will end next Tuesday, September 1.
