Kern Energy Festival becomes Kern Oil Festival
Kern Energy Foundation is changing the name of its annual day-long festival, coming in mid-November, from Kern Energy to Kern Oil Festival. The purpose of the event is to inform the community on the oil industry’s positive impact on state and local economies.
A Kid Zone will feature interactive Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics exhibits, displays about career opportunities, music, bounce houses, and food and drinks for purchase.
Large equipment used to generate energy will be shown by industry-related companies. They will also have innovative technologies displays that have improved efficiency and use in the industry.
Four sponsorship levels are available. All packages come with the company logo design on the event’s promotional materials, website, sponsor page, social media acknowledgements, and recognition on signage at the event. Gold and Silver sponsors will also get major equipment display access. Tickets for the VIP reception on November 10th range from four at the $2500 Silver Sponsor, and eight at the $5000 Gold sponsor level, to 16 at the $10,000 Platinum level.
Platinum sponsors will also get 10 x 10 exhibit areas to display their goods and services, distribute business cards and other advertising materials.
All proceeds will go to scholarships and grants that support energy and science education.
