MoonBall Comics will be presenting its 4th Annual Mouse-Con Bakersfield for Disney devotees toward the end of January.
Attendees will get to meet Niketa Calme-Harris from the Lion King, Irene Badard (voice of Pocahantas), Tony Anselmo (Donald Duck), Amy O’Neill from Honey I Shrunk the Kids, and Katie Lee (Gummi Bears).
Exhibitors will be vending Disney toys, figurines, collectables, pins and more in the Exhibitor Room from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Talks and panels will be on the Stromboli stage beginning at 11:00 am with Adventurous Ideas, a full cast audio drama production studio, with founders Jerry Cornell and C. Andrew Nelson.
At noon, former Mouseketeers will be holding a panel to discuss their Disney adventures. The Haunted Mansion will be the topic of the panel beginning at 1:00 pm.
At 2:00 pm, Barry Bostwick -Brad Majors from The Rocky Horror Picture Show- will discuss his Broadway, TV and Movie career and hold a Q & A after. During the next hour, Tinkerbell’s Margaret Kerry will discuss her career from the time she worked with Marc Davis to her starring role in Andy Griffith. Attendees will get the opportunity to be in or watch the 3rd Annual Mose-Con Costume Contest.
Attendees may also purchase black, white, and red T-Shirts featuring the event’s unique graphic design.
Mouse-con Bakersfield will be Saturday, January 27th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Kern County Fairgrounds, 1442 P Street, Building 3.
