Many Bakersfield food connoisseurs will be readying for the 9th Annual Mac and Cheese Fest coming toward the end of April.
More than 20 of Bakerfield's eateries and top chefs from local restaurants will be preparing and distributing unlimited mac and cheese bites, ranging from gourmet twists to classic cheddar, with ⅛oz to 1oz drink samples to accompany them.
Attendees may enjoy craft cocktails and wine, beer, or spiked seltzers as they listen to live music and take part in friendly competitions in the sprawling gaming area.
Guests are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Photo opportunities will be available in many photo booths strewn about the venue.
Pictures taken at photo booth like these often go to local Stationery printers to be used as pictures in family yearly Calendars, and to local Print shops to be added to family newsletters.
Early bird tickets are $50, presale $60, and general admission $70. Admission will be $80 at the gate and VIP Experience tickets (private restrooms and beer sampling area, and catered meal) will be $120. Tickets come with commemorative souvenir glasses featuring this year's graphic design.
The 9th Annual Mac and Cheese Fest will take place from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday, April 20 at Stramler Park, 4003 Chester Avenue. This event will take place rain or shine.
