The Stockdale Tower of Bakersfield recently changed hands, and the new owners intend to make a lot of changes to the 12 story office building.
With over 175,000 square feet accompanied by a four-story parking garage, the transformation will be no small undertaking.
Stockdale Towers is a landmark in the city as it can be seen for miles outside of its confines. The building, due to its landmark status, is often the subject of photographs and perhaps even Promotional Products for businesses on site.
Although the building currently houses businesses, it is only at about 70% occupancy. The new owners have been offering reduced prices, 20% below market value, for businesses who wish to reside in the tower or its smaller outer building, which is currently at about 85% occupancy.
Businesses that currently reside will likely stay as the renewed occupancy could bring more customers to them, including the top floor Petroleum Club, which is a private business and social club that has its own restaurant and events.
As renovations will soon be underway, the new owners announced plans to carry out a complete overhaul on the basement level fitness center. The new center will offer free membership to tenants and will upgrade the current men’s and women’s locker rooms, along with the equipment in the gym.
Stockdale Towers will also retain the parking garage and restore the fountain on the property, which has not worked for several years. Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
