Two Farm Bureau events are being planned for spring here in Bakersfield.
Farm Day in the City 2025 has been organized to educate students in grades 2 through 4 about agriculture and to fill in the gap from farm to table. Educational exhibits will include exhibits featuring various topics such as farm machinery, livestock, and crops presented by local ranchers, high school FFA (Future Farmers of America), farmers and agricultural organizations.
Indoor exhibits will offer educational activities, games and giveaways.
Four sponsorship levels include Silver at $500, Gold at $1000 and Presenting at $9000. In-kind contributions are also welcome. All levels will receive booth space to distribute Business Cards and introduce the attendees to their brands, goods and services.
Farm Day in the City will take place March 19th and 20th at the Kern County Fair 1142 S P Street, from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.
A fundraiser for the Kern County Farm Bureau programs and initiatives will be Golf Classics 2025. This fun-filled event will feature various golf-related contests, prizes for the tournament top performers, beverages and food and plenty of networking opportunities.
Professional people that attend events like this bring updated business cards to get their name out to as many potential clients as possible.
The Golf Classics 2025 will take place April 28th from 8:00 until 2:00 pm at Kern County Farm 12345 Farm Road.
