Thousands of health and fitness aficionados are expected to head over to the first ever Bakersfield Fit Expo which will be coming to the Kern County Fair Grounds in mid-January.
Two exhibit buildings will hold the family-friendly event featuring over 100 health and fitness exhibitors and vendors.
Fitness and nutrition experts will be on hand to answer any questions and to give out cutting-edge information about the latest products, exercise techniques, and programs. Nutrition and fitness-themed vendors will be selling their wellness services and products. Many vendors will be offering fitness-oriented food products and retail items. Exhibitors include Better Bowls, Fitness Overdose, Elite Fitness Center, Stay Fit Meals, and Orange Theory Fitness.
Vendors at expos like this usually have Business Cards with them if anyone wishes to contact them later to sign up for programs or classes or to buy more products.
The United States Powerlifting Association will be holding its Naspower Cup Powerlifting Competition Championship at the expo this year. Around 50 lifters will be trying to break national and state records and qualifying for the world championships.
Adult tickets to the expo will be $10 and children 12 and under will get in free. Bakersfield Fit Expo will be held from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 11, at the Kern County Fair Grounds, 1142 South P Street.
