The 34th Annual Bakersfield Home and Garden Show will be coming in February.
Over 500 hundred exhibitors will be on hand to discuss their goods and services. Some of the home and garden vendors will be discussing and selling pools, tile, solar and air products, landscape materials, remodeling and homes, water conditioners, shutters, cutlery and heating and cooling. Many will be passing out Business Cards.
On February 21st, at 2:00 pm and again at 2:30 pm on Saturday and 1:30 pm on Sunday, Joey Green will give talks on uses for brand name items. Also on Friday, at 3:00 pm Dale Edwards and Lindsay Ono will discuss plant life. On the following day at noon they will discuss keeping plants alive, at 2:00 pm favorite vegetables, and at 3:00 pm pruning. They will also give suggestions on making a swimming hole, succulents and grafting on Sunday. At 1:00 pm, on the 22nd, Chef John McFee will discuss eating homegrown fruit and vegetables and on Sunday he will talk about grilling.
General admission will be $10 for adults and parking will be $5.
The 34th Spring Bakersfield Home and Garden Show will be February 21st from noon until 7:00 pm, Saturday, February 22nd from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm and Sunday, February 23rd from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. The event will be held at the Kern County Fairgrounds, 1142 S P Street.
