Bakersfield honors local music talent
In mid-June, Bakersfield's 4th annual Music Awards will be celebrating the creativity and talent of our local music community while bringing together fans, artists, and industry leaders.
The evening will begin with a Media Red Carpet experience with media outlets taking pictures and getting interviews. Guests will also be treated to a Sweets Bar, wine, and hors d’oeuvres.
The Entertainment and Awards Ceremony will follow. The host for the evening will begin the evening by introducing the night's comedian. Influential guests and nominees will be acknowledged. Presenters will be revealing this year's winners, who will be giving acceptance speeches.
After the ceremony, a three-course meal will be served, and a live DJ, full bar, music, and dance will take place at the Bakersfield's Music Awards VIP After Party. The dress code for the evening will be semi-formal and formal attire.
General admission for front row seating will be $130, while VIP seating for rows two and three cost $100. Preferred seating in rows four to six will be $70, and general seating beginning at row seven will cost $40. Proceeds will go to local educational and art programs. Local businesses often contribute corporate gifts to programs like these as well.
The awards will take place at The Iron Lily Venue on Sunday, June 9 from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm at 424 24th St.
